Who's Driving, Jesus Or His Father Jehovah God?

Question: How many individuals can drive the same car at the same time?
Answer: One, if you want to get anywhere.

Psalms 110: 1 - 5 is a prophetic writing by King David (with double meaning) of which one of those meanings was prophecy of a communication that would take place from Jehovah to his Son Jesus many, many years after it was written. In fact the prophecy would not actually come true for many years after Jesus' resurrection and not completely for a while - even after Jesus is living back in heaven with his Father.

Psalms says,

Based on the above verses - At some point Jehovah (God) intended to let his Son Jesus take the wheel in heaven. That is after Jehovah saw to it that Jesus' enemies were out of the way first.

When was this prophecy actually fulfilled you say?

Fine - A specific date, and or time is not important. However, knowing whether or not one is living during a described time, or whether something has actually taken place based upon the signs and/or warnings given is . . . . . .

We know that when Jesus ascended back into heaven after his resurrection - that he went to sit at his Father's right hand, however it would be some time (according to earthly, human measurements of time see 2 nd. Peter 3: 8) before Jesus' enemies were made into a footstool for his feet. Or in other words defeated and kicked out of heaven. There are several scriptures to point out here, but for the sake of time I'll quote: Ephesians 1: 20

When Were Jesus' Enemies Kicked Out Of Heaven In Order To Become A Footstool For His Feet?

Let's go back a little bit: While still living on the earth with his disciples, Jesus was asked by them: "“Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” Matt. 24: 3 (NWT)

(KJV) Matt. 24: 3 says, "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"

Jesus answered them (in part) as follows:
"6 YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another.
8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.
9 “Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name.
10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another.
11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many;
12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off.
13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.

Not only has Jesus told his disciples what to look for in order to know that the "end" is near (a different kind of coming), but also the signs to look for that will indicate that Jesus is ruling as King in heaven - thus meaning that his enemies have finally been made a footstool for his feet (aka kicked out of heaven), thus allowing Jesus to TAKE THE WHEEL from his Father Jehovah (leave his right), and drive.

Are We Now Living In The Time Of Jesus Ruling With His Enemies As A Footstool For His Feet?

Yes - We are. Jesus Is Driving!

The earth has been for many years, and is currently experiencing all the things Jesus told his Disciples would happen as mentioned in Matthew 24: 6 - 14

Revelation 12: 12 - (KJV) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."

But the Devil was kicked out of heaven long before Jesus came to the earth you say!?

Not so!

The Bible Says, Revelation 12: 7 - 12 (KJV)
"[7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, [8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
[10] And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
[11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
[12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Verse eleven tells us that this kicking Satan and his Angels (aka Jesus' enemies) out of heaven was made possible - by the blood of the Lamb (aka Jesus' blood), therefore we know that this scene took place sometime after Jesus had died, been resurrected, and had gone back to heaven and sat at his Father (Jehovah's) right hand until the time was right.

So there you have it!

Jesus is driving right now! He is in charge. He is our KING, and Master.

Jesus came for many reasons:
1. He was sent by his Father יהוה
2. To show us what his Father Jehovah is like - Therefore, If you know Jesus, you know the Father.
3. To provide a spiritual resurrection (or awakening of the spiritually dead, those who sleep) with knowledge of truth.
4. To teach us what his Father Jehovah wants from us.
5. To show us how to survive in this world infested by Satan and his Angels until the time for their final destruction comes someday.
6. To someday provide a physical resurrection of the dead (aka those who sleep in death and are in graves) both righteous and unrighteous.
7. To ultimately overcome and conquer death both spiritually and physically caused by sin and separation from God.

Question: Will Jehovah (God) ever take back the wheel?

Answer: Yes, someday.

1st. Corinthians 15: 25 - 28 says,

Do you know where the word hell came from? Does the bible really say that "bad" people are all going to a place of no return, where they will be tortured, and tormented for eternity? What does the Bible say about homosexuality?

What should be the Christian's Response to the Homosexual? As a Christian, we should pray for such individuals, and if possible try to win them over to God's way of thinking in word, example, and love. Although we as Christians do not approve of homosexual lifestyle practices, we should show compassion to such individuals as potential future brothers or sisters in Jehovah and his Son Jesus. 1st. Corinthians 6: 11 states - "And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God."

Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible (God's word).

Lev. 18: 22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"

1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10. nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

Again: Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible. It goes against the created order of God (see balance). He created Adam and then made a woman. This is what God has ordained and it is what is right. Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself. This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18). As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.

Trinity Doctrine, A False Teaching Of Man, Council of Nicaea

The trinity doctrine, is a false doctrine of Man that teaches ANOTHER JESUS as warned in the Bible at - 2nd. Cor. 11: 3,4).

That is to say, it teaches a Jesus that greatly differs from how Jesus spoke of himself in clear SIMPLE language throughout scripture.In 325, the Council of Nicaea adopted a term for the relationship between the Son and the Father that from then on was seen as the hallmark of orthodoxy; it declared that the Son is "of the same substance" (ὁμοούσιος) as the Father.

This was further developed into the formula "three persons, one substance."The Council of Nicaea was reluctant to adopt language NOT FOUND IN SCRIPTURE, and ultimately did so only after one particular man showed how all strictly biblical language could also be interpreted to support his belief that there was a time when the Son(Jesus) did not exist - see Proverbs 8: 22 - 31

The Confession of the Council of Nicaea said little about the Holy Spirit.[21] The doctrine of the divinity and personality of the Holy Spirit was developed by Pope Athanasius I of Alexandria (c 293 - 373) in the last decades of his life.Athanasius eventually "invented dialogue to ridicule his adversaries", and used "suppression and distortion" to serve his own means.

With that in mind, and with the fact that the Council of Nicaea was reluctant to adopt language NOT FOUND IN SCRIPTURE, but ultimately did so, THERE IS REASON FOR TRINITARIANS to question this man made doctrine and the motives behind it.

I’m guessing that the point YOUTUBE USER is trying to make about ISAIAH 6: 1 is - yes, indeed - man has seen God with his own eyes, and lived to talk about it on top of that.

The second point I'm guessing that YOUTUBE USER is trying to make in regard to JOHN 12: 41 is that Isaiah is speaking of God. Since I'm guessing YOUTUBE USER believes Jesus is literally God, then my assumption is probably correct. However we will soon see if Isaiah is speaking of Jehovah God, or a separate, mighty servant of God, Jesus the Son of God.

at Exodus 33:20 God said to Moses: “You cannot see My face; for no man can see Me and live.”
On the other hand,
Genesis 32:30 records Jacob as saying: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”

Now, in the above verses (Exodus 33: 20 & Genesis 32: 30) it appears as if Jacob is proving God’s own words to Moses at Exodus 33: 20 – to be a lie.

YIKERS! That is a very serious situation if true.

Titus 1: 2 says that GOD CANNOT LIE - “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;”

SO WHAT GIVES?????

Let’s consider the situations in the Bible where individuals referred to seeing God.

In Jacob’s case at Genesis 32: 30 it says (KJV) “And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”

Just a little before Jacob says this, he experiences the following with the same being of which he is never told the name, but he refers to this individual as “a man”

Genesis 32: 24,25, says,
[24] And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. [25] And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

Then in verse 29 we are told that Jacob never did get the name of the man he wrestled with – “And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.”

Remember this part about the name not being given to him as you read further below.

The fact that Jacob did not get the name or the actual identity of this “man” he wrestled with revealed to him - is reason to conclude that Jacob wrestled with “The Angel Of The LORD” or “an Angel of The Lord” that is mentioned SEVENTY FOUR times in the Bible. This Angel of the LORD often appeared to God’s people to represent God, and therefore God also spoke through such an angel.

For a perfect example of this - read Judges 6: 11 – 16, where it clearly states that the angel of the LORD appears to Joash, and then later in verse 16 it says, “And the LORD said unto him”, - - - - - Joash was talking to God, but through the presence or representation of God provided by the Angel of the LORD, , , , , therefore it can be said that Joash was looking at, and speaking with God indirectly.

Other times individuals spoke of seeing God, when what they really saw was a representation of God but not God himself are as follows:

Exodus 3: 2 – Moses is mentioned as “seeing” God in a burning bush, however again it is worded as such,
“[2] And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.”

Did Moses See God?
Answer No. He saw an image that he, as a human could comprehend, or understand. The bush was a representation of God—an occasion where something took God’s place.

The same applies to Job when God appeared to him in a whirlwind at Job 38: 1

What about in Judges 13: 22, which says,
“And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.”

Did Manoah and his wife see God?
NO. Verse 18 in the same book answers this question when Manoah asked for the name of who was speaking to him.
Judges 13: 18 says this happened when Manoah asked the name of the Angel of the Lord, “And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?”

Compare to Genesis 32: 29 - Where Jacob never did get the name of the man he wrestled with.

It is now safe to conclude, , , that we’ve established that each time a human is said to have seen God in the Bible, what they really have seen, is a representation, or representative of God, not the literal face of God, or in God’s own words, they would die.

Just as the “angel of the LORD” represented God and was the voice through which God spoke to people –

JESUS WAS/IS ALSO A VISUAL REPRESENTATION OF HIS FATHER JEHOVAH GOD.

How do I know?

The Bible says so at John 1: 18
“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

WHO DECLARED GOD?

JESUS - HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON DID, THAT’S WHO.

QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER
1. Who was Isaiah speaking of after seeing his glory?
2. Was Isaiah speaking of God himself, or of another Servant of God?

If you read the full chapter IN CONTEXT, you will read that Jesus was sitting with others at a feast that was thrown after Lazarus was raised from the dead. Certain people were asking to see Jesus because of what they had heard about him and Lazarus, and other miracles.
Philip, and Andrew tell Jesus that certain people were looking for him.

Jesus assures them that he is soon to be glorified. In other words, don’t worry - they’ll know who I am in just a moment.

John 12: 23 says, “And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.”

Jesus went on to say,
John 12: 27 - 30
[27] Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.[28] Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. [29] The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. [30] Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

After this happened, people nearby either heard it and new it was a message from above (thus recieving confirmation from Jehovah that Jesus was the promised Messiah), or they did not hear it, and wrote it off as thunder. Not only was Jehovah God’s name being glorified at that very moment in verse 28, but also, Jesus was being identified to those who heard - as the “Christ” the promised Messiah.

Because of this - some questioned Jesus as follows,
John 12: 34 says,
[34] The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever (see Prov. 8: 22 - 31) and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?”

The people are asking WHO IS THIS SON OF MAN?

The answer to this question lies in the following verse:

John 12: 38 says,
“That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath THE ARM OF THE LORD been revealed?”

The Son Of Man (Jesus) is not God himself, but the prophesied ultimate representation of God in this case referred to as THE ARM OF THE LORD - (LORD meaning Jehovah).

Compare John 12: 38 to:

Isaiah 53: 1 – 12
speaks of Jesus (JEHOVAH’S ARM) in the following verses.
[1] Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? [2] For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. [3] He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. [4] Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. There is no comparison. Isaiah 6: 1 is speaking of what has been seen in a vision as a representation of God (Jehovah) on his throne, not Jesus.

John 12: 41 - speaks of Isaiah seeing his glory, who’s glory did he see? He saw the ARM OF GOD, also known to us as Jesus, the promised Messiah, the Son of man.

Isaiah 51: 9 speaks of THE ARM OF THE LORD as the one who cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon.

Note: Rahab is also the name of a sea-demon and, connected with this, a poetical or symbolic name applied to Egypt in Psalm 87:4, Psalm 89:10 and Isaiah 51:9, signifying "the proud one." - - thus further drawing the conclusion that in these cases, JESUS, or the ARM OF JEHOVAH, was being spoken of in prophetic poem.

Isaiah 52: 10 says,
The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Even Satan is god-like, and is called a god - 2nd. Cor. 4: 4 (Satan possesses god-like supernatural powers) Does this mean that Satan is not a god? He certainly posseses his own powers as his evil deeds to not come from God, , , , , therefore Satan is a god in the sense that he possesses supernatural powers of which he can use in practicing his own free will. The story of Job proves this point (Job 2: and so on)

Satan however, is not immortal as he will be destroyed someday (Rev. 20: 10)

Jesus however was granted immortality and exhaulted by his Father Jehovah, after Jesus fullfulled his role as the Messiah, and was resurrected back up to heaven.

Isaiah 9: 6 would suggest that since this is talking about Jesus, it equals that Jesus is God, when the verse is compared to:
Deuteronomy 10: 17 which says,[17] For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:”

Deuteronomy 10: 17 is indeed talking about Jehovah God, and includes the words "God of gods".

In contrast,
Isaiah 9: 6 - DOES NOT include the words "God of gods".

In fact, the words "God of gods" CANNOT BE FOUND anywhere in the New Testament or (Greek scriptures).

Revelation 17: 14 - is Talking about Jesus (the Son of God), but DOES NOT include the words "God of gods" in it.

Nor are the words "God of gods" found in the following verses pertaining to Jesus in the New testament:

And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Now in regard to John 1: 1 says,

Jesus was truly the Word, but was the word literally God?

According to all Biblical evidence, no, but the Word (or God's Son Jesus), is the perfect personification of his Father Jehovah, so much so, that he abides in an unapproachable light that only he can share with his Father Jehovah God, therefore, to us human beings he is truly the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1: 15) "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:"

In Closing, We Must Answer The Question Once And For All - DOES THE BIBLE CONTRADICT ITSELF?
Most claiming to be Christian will quickly answer “NO” without flinching.
In contrast however many of these same people, with their own misunderstanding of the “Big Picture”, combined with the false teachings they’ve adopted - say otherwise without realizing it in most cases.

In the Bible Jehovah God makes this plea to man at Proverbs 27: 11 “Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him(Satan) that is taunting me.”

WHAT IS SIN?

In order to understand sin, we must first understand the origin of sin.

Quite simply, sin is everything in opposition to (or a deviation) from established balance, or original, intended balance.

What is balance?
There are many definitions for the word balance, but for the purpose of making my point I'll use just a few.
The dictionary says,
balance - To arrange, adjust, or proportion the parts of symmetrically.
balance - To bring into or maintain in a state of equilibrium.
balance - To bring into or keep in equal or satisfying proportion or harmony.

My own personal definition?
balance - All components working together harmoniously for the sake of maintenance, and survival.

Once again, SIN would be anything that works against that balance that is necessary for survival.

Imagine if you will that:
1. You have just been given the world's best computer system, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and want, fully setup, and running. Every component/part of that computer system works together perfectly, smoothly and harmoniously.

2. The actual computer designer gives you a list of things that you can do, but more importantly a list of things you SHOULD NOT DO in order the assure the longevity and ultimately the life of this computer. Everything on the list of DO NOT DO'S given to you are for the purpose of avoiding getting your perfect computer infected with the most dangerous computer virus known to man.

3. As time goes by, you learn about the many wonderful and beneficial things your computer system can do for you, and help you do. Also, as time goes by, you become more careless as to what you do with your computer in regard to the list of DO NOT DO'S that was given to you.

4. Eventually you begin to ignore the list of things you were told NOT TO DO with your computer, and before you know it, and when it's too late to go back, you pick up the single most deadly computer virus possible.
Your negligence has just thrown a wrench so to speak into the BALANCED workings of your computer, thus causing its' demise.

5. This virus is the most difficult virus to detect because of the way it works. It slowly attacks your computer in ways that you cannot detect, and does so over a long period of time.

6. In the meantime, you send email messages to all of your relatives, thus spreading this virus to each and every one of their computers.

7. Eventually the computer virus has finished it's slow breakdown of your computer system, and all of your relatives' computers as well. Finally it reaches the point of complete takeover of which at that point, your computer and their computers die suddenly.

8. The only salvation? Each one must do away with the old computer and buy a new one with the intention of not repeating the steps that destroyed the first.

Now, let's look at the above scenario and compare it as closely as possible to the Bible, and Jehovah God's plan for the earth, mankind and all creation.

1. The book of Genesis tells of how Jehovah God (through Jesus Prov. 8: 22-31) created the heavens and the earth. Everything was created to work in harmony, and beautifully.

2. God therefore created the first man (Adam) to take care of the earth (Gen. 2: 5-7 & Gen. 2: 15). In a sense, God was giving man the earth to care for and enjoy.

3. Jehovah God then told Adam directly (not Eve) - DO NOT eat the fruit from the tree of good and bad (Gen. 2: 17). Just like in the computer scenario, if the warning was not respected and heeded, there would be serious consequence. For the computer it was a virus that slowly killed the computer, but for Adam (and Eve) not taking this warning very seriously - would lead to the curse of death that would slowly drain man's youth, health, and eventually life over a period of time.

Note: Had Adam obeyed God, he and all his offspring were to live forever with perfect health on a beautiful earth - (Gen. 1: 28, Isaiah 45: 18, Ecc. 1: 4)

4. Just like the owner of the computer, Adam (and Eve) did not heed the warning of what NOT TO DO, (thus this negligence has thrown a spiritual wrench into the BALANCED workings and plan put in place by God, thus causing man's demise), , , , , and therefore Adam and all of his descendants have contracted a horrible curse/virus called death that slowly shuts man's life down through time, to the point of death.

5. Like the computer owner - Adam passes this death/virus on to all of his family (all mankind) or in other words his descendants - you, me, everyone. That is why we all lose our youth, experience illnesses, and eventually die. (Romans 5: 14, 1st. Corinthians 15: 22)

6. The only salvation? Well, in contrast to the computer owner(s) who could simply buy a new computer , , , , , we can't simply buy a new body and life, however we can have future hope in everlasting life through a new or "last Adam" (aka Jesus) sent by Jehovah to serve as a replacement for the failure - first man Adam, the father of all as we are his descendants.
1st. Corinthians 15: 22, and 45 says,
[22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
[45] And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

(a) We can also make the necessary changes (away from sin, and sinful acts) in our daily life as instructed in God's word the Bible.
Luke 15: 7 says, "I tell you that thus there will be more JOY in heaven over one sinner that repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance."

7. Well if you were purchasing a new computer to replace the first one that died, you would definitely read the owner's manual for the new computer much more thoroughly to make sure you new what do to, and once again, what not to do. Not only would you establish a more accurate knowledge of the computer system, you would make every effort possible this time to adhere to the instructions closely.
THE BIBLE (the owner's manual to life for us) tells us to do the very same thing:
1st. Timothy 2: 3, 4 says,
"This is fine and acceptable in the sight of our Savior, God, whose will is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth.
Isaiah 48: 17, 18 says,
"This is what Jehovah has said, you Re-purchaser, the Holy One of Israel. I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit (yourself), the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. 18 O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

8. God's word the Bible is our owner's manual to life, but not just on how to live in this death cursed world all experience, but ultimately on how to someday - once again gain the (balanced) everlasting life that God purposed for mankind that Adam and Eve could have enjoyed.
In the Bible, there are lists of things to do, and things that we are not to do, some that have been done away with, and some that have never changed. Better yet, in the Bible, are contained examples or documented stories of individuals and groups who did not adhere to the instructions, and the consequences that they had to deal with as a result. The bible also contains examples or stories of those who did do the things that they should do, and records the blessings or benefits they enjoyed as well.
2nd. Timothy 3: 16 says,
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

9. Although death is currently still an inescapable part of human life, God put a plan in place (as a promise) soon after Adam's original sin. This plan and promise was that he (Jehovah God) would setup a "seed" or (Jesus, the Messiah) that would undo the curse of death brought upon all mankind (Adam's descendants or offspring) someday.

10. How would this "seed" or Jesus undo the curse of death?

(a) The bible says that first he (Jesus) had to learn obedience in human form (Hebrews 5: 7,8,9) "Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; [8] Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; [9] And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; - Like Jesus we must learn obedience in order to have the hope of resurrection, and someday benefit from eternal life.

(b) The bible says that he (Jesus) had to die (and be resurrected by his Father Jehovah), in order to conquer death first himself. Then, and only then, was he given authority to become the future resurrection of man.
John 3: 16 says,
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed (or perish in some translations) but have everlasting life."
John 5: 25 - 28 says,
[25] Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. [26] For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; [27] And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. [28] Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

11: This Messiah, Jesus Christ - also referred to as the "seed", the "root of Jesse", the "only begotten Son" of God is referred to in the following verses in the Bible. Gen. 3: 14,15 - Isa. 11: 10 - Romans 15: 12 - John 3: 16, etc.
The original promise after Adam's sin - Gen. 3: 14, and 15,

The last phrase in the above verse means:
it(meaning the seed or Jesus) shall bruise thy head(will kill Satan once and for all someday), and thou(Satan) shalt bruise his(Jesus) heel (bruise his heel refers to the Crucifixion of Jesus, which was not a final blow due to his resurrection).

So what must we do to make sure that we will benefit from the resurrection and eternal life someday?
(a) We must believe
that is believe in Jesus (John 3: 16), who he was, is, and more importantly we must believe Jesus words as recorded in our manual to life (the Bible).

(b) We must take in knowledge
The bible says the following: John 17: 3 - "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

(c) We must remain obedient
Matthew 7: 21 - says, "[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

(d) We must endure to the end
Matthew 10: 22 - "[22] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved."

Well, just look at 1st. Cor. 15: 22, and 23 above:
Verse 22 shows that all shall be made alive (or resurrected) by Christ, but notice what verse 23 says - But every man in his own order. In other words not all will be resurrected in the same order, but according to how God purposes or plans.
Verse 23 also goes on to state what this order of resurrection will be: "Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming."

Now who are the firstfruits, and those who are Christ's mentioned in verse 23 above?
Matthew 24: 31 tells us that these are the "elect" aka chosen ones, aka 144 thousand who had already died and were sleeping (or waiting) in death, and those who will die during the time of Christ's ruling as King in heaven during the last days after Satan is cast down to the earth (see Rev. 12: 9)
Matthew 24: 31 - And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Now the question is what does it mean by his coming? Does this mean a literal coming to earth?, or coming to power as King in Heaven?

1st. Cor. 15 Verse 25 says that he (Jesus) must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet, which helps to establish that Jesus had to have come to rule as king in Heaven when he (Jesus) experienced his first battle victory against Satan (aka the dragon) mentioned at:
Revelation 12: 7 - 10 which says,
[7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
[8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.[10] And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now IS COME salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the POWER of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Now, how do I know that this happened sometime after Jesus died on earth, and was resurrected and returned to Heaven?

Just after the above mentioned verses if you look one more verse beyond that at Revelation 12: 11, you will see that they (Jesus and his angels) overcame Satan, and his angels by Jesus sacraficial blood - "[11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Matthew 16: 19 tells us what Jesus did when he initially ascended into heaven after his resurrection.
"So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God."

Why did Jesus sit at the right hand of his Father Jehovah at that point?
Mark 12: 36 talks of the prophecy vision by David which says tells us why Jesus sat at the right hand of his Father "For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

When did Jesus' enemies become his footstool?
Answer: After the war in heaven between Jesus and his angels, and Satan and his angels.
Rev. 12: 9 - "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
Rev. 12: 12 says - "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Matthew 14: 61, and 62 while on earth, Jesus says, "[61] But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?[62] And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

The verses above clearly point out that in the case of 1st. Thes. 4: 16 when the word "coming" is used it refers to - a coming to power. In this case heavenly power as King. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:"

Matthew 24: 30, 31 says,
[30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
[31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

A bit further down in Matthew 24 you will see that Jesus himself compares his "coming" or COMING TO POWER to the days of Noah and his ark.

HOW SO?
Matt. 24: verse 35 says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Well since Ecclesiastes 1: 4 says "One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever. We can conclude that the ball in space called earth will not pass away, perish, or be destroyed, therefore as in Noah's day, when the flood finally came, the destruction or passing away pertained not to the earth, but to its inhabitants that did not accept Jehovah's righteous law, nor turn away from their bad ways after ample time and warning had been given.

Matt. 24: 36 says, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."
Just like in the days of Noah before the flood came, Noah new the flood would come because he was told by God himself, however, God did not tell him exactly when the flood or end of all unrighteousness would come during those days. Noah simply finished his tasks and waited.

How do we know from the bible when the "end" in our time is near?
If we can't know the day or hour how can we be prepared?
Jesus tells us when we will know that he has come to power in heaven thus ruling with his enemies as his footstool at:
Matthew 24: 3 - 14,
[3] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
[4] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
[5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
[6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
[7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.
[9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
[10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.[11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
[12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
[13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
[14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and THEN SHALL THE END COME.

Matthew 24: 38, and 39 says,
[38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, [39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Notice that the people were carrying on with everyday life, as if there was nothing to concern themselves with beyond their own selfish desires? Well, there's certainly nothing wrong with eating, drinking, and getting married. What people failed to do however was heed the warning that had been given to them to turn away from the things in their lives that were displeasing to God. Today people take the same approach with the same attitude.

Conclusion based on scriptural proof?
The days of Christ's coming in Kingdom power while his enemies are (on earth) as his footstool are also referred to as the "last days" in scripture.

The end of the "last days" is not to be confused with the coming of Christ to power in heaven. The end is a very different event otherwise known as "the great day"(Rev. 6: 16, 17, Rev. 16: 14) when Jesus leads his angels in the final battle to remove all earthly things apposing justice, righteousness, and truth according to Jehovah God from the face of the earth.

[16] These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

Since we are told according to scripture that we can identify the sign of the Son of man (Jesus) in the sky (or his coming to power in the heavens) based on the signs of the times mentioned at Matthew 24: 3 - 14 - It can be concluded that a location in time can be marked as the beginning of that time, aka the days of Christ's heavenly rulership, and with further examination of the scriptures arrive at an educated conclusion as to when certain events that were to follow happened.

Answer: Yes, all evidence does point to the year 1918 it's called an educated conclusion based on the scriptures of which there is nothing wrong in doing so. That's why we have the Bible to use.
